Password A sequence of characters which allows access to the account to which it is associated.

SSL The SSL protocol is the Web standard for encrypting communications so they cannot be read by other than the intended recipients. This is done to protect important information like credit card numbers and passwords.

Username A sequence of characters which identifies an account so that the appropriate password will allow access to it.
