Section Two • Moving a Domain to Another Account 1/2
If the new and current owners both use easyDNS as the registrar, the first step in moving the domain into the new owner's account is to click the "move" link in the Utilities module.

On the page you are brought to next you have a box listing the domains you can move, and a textbox to enter the username you are moving the domain into. It is important to realise that only domains which can be moved will show up in this list.

Domains cannot be moved if they are cloned to another domain or have a domain cloned to them (meaning that one domain is copying the settings of the other domain). If the domain you are trying to move does not show up in the list, return to the members home page to check the clone link to see if it is cloned. The clone link is in the Domain Settings module, to the right of the domain in question.

The last item on that form is the checkbox asking if you want to maintain the current mail forwarding. Email forwarding is often tied to the email address in the accounts member information, so moving it to a new account can sometimes interfere with the arrangements. If you check this box, the system will retain the current mail forwarding after the domain is moved. Once you have everything filled out correctly, click "Next" at the bottom to go to the next step.
