Section Two • What Hosts to create SPF data for

When creating SPF data for your domain you will want to add a record for each host of the domain that someone might try to forge, basically anything visible to the public. So you will want to include your domain and its webhost (in our example easydns-example.com and www.easydns-example.com) as well as any other hosts you use for sites or other services. In particular you will want to create SPF data for your mailservers, as when they send a bounce or other automated message, those hosts will need to pass the SPF check.

If you are adding records for more than one host, you will likely want to change the style of TXT record box to allow you to enter more than one at a time. You will need to click the "view or edit domain and dns display options" link on the member page again, and this time change the "style of TXT record" field from "expanded" to "compact" and click done to commit the change.

In this view the fields are side by side with less explaination, allowing 4 to be added together.
