While PTR records are the principle type of record one is concerned with in reverse DNS there are other records involved that our system allows the control of. These records are common to regular "forward" DNS, such as NS records to point to the authoritative nameservers and SOA records which control how and how frequently nameservers exchange information about the address which affects the propagation of changes. If you are not familiar with these records you will likely find it best to leave the default settings from our system in place, as they are defined to be optimal in the vast majority of cases.
