3a • enable your domain to accept dynamic DNS updates

After clicking the link you will see a page showing a list of available dynamic DNS clients, and below that the next link to enable dynamic DNS for the domain. You don't need to worry about the list of clients for the time being, so just scroll down to the bottom of the page.

There you will see some text titled "What you are about to do" and "What will happen to your DNS settings" which summarises what enabling or disabling dynamic dns for a domain name on easyDNS will do. Beneath that text you will see a box that says "I want to enable dynamic DNS updates" and showing the domain name you have selected.

Click the "next" link under this box and you will enable dynamic dns for your domain name.

Note: clicking next will also reload the "available clients" page so you can select and download a dynamic dns client which we will look at in the next step.

You have now completed setting up your easyDNS account and your domain name to accept automatic dynamic DNS updates. The next step is to select, download and setup a dynamic dns client on your computer to automatically send easyDNS your IP address each time it changes.
