Third Level TLDs

Clients using regional or country code domains, such as domain.com.au or example.co.uk, will often run into difficulties relating to the extra "level" in the domain. That kind of domain often confuses the system into thinking you are trying to update com.au or co.uk, missing your actual domain name. For this reason most dynamic update clients include a "TLD" field, allowing you to specifiy what part of the name it the TLD.

If you are trying to update a third level domain of that sort and receive an error indicating that the login information is incorrect and you have checked the username and password, it is probably the TLD which is creating the problem. You will want to locate the TLD field in the update client you are using and enter the appropriate information. If you have trouble with this please email our support department.
