How A records are added using easyDNS
To add an A record to your account, go to your easyDNS members section, which looks like this:

On the interface, A records are referred to as Hosts. To change a host record, you just locate the hostname in the list and change the numerical IP address in the "has IP" area and then confirm the changes. (see below)

So that is how you would change an IP using regular DNS service. Later you will see how this is different from dynamic DNS.

The next page will show how the minimum or TTL (time to live) setting affects the speed at which changes will occur and then we move on to talk about dynamic DNS.
