Once we've determined that the domain name you entered exists, we will display the list of current contacts for the domain name. You must be listed as either the administrative or the technical contact in order to transfer the domain to your account. If you are not listed as one of the contacts for the domain but are in fact the owner of the domain name, please contact our support staff at support@easydns.com and let them know the name of the domain in question.
The next step in the transfer process is to indicate whether or not you would like us to try and preserve your exiting DNS settings. If you select "Yes", we will try to access your current DNS settings and copy them to your account. However, some systems do not allow us to perform this operation so we always recommend that you check your DNS settings immediately after completing the transfer application. If everything looks good, you then need to choose a level of service for your domain. We've made another support section that tells you the differences between our levels of service, so take a look at it to find out which level is right for you.
